Common Reasons Why Car Doors Won’t Lock

Key Fob Battery

If your car doors aren’t locking when you press the remote button the key fob battery is probably dead. Replace the battery and check if the problem solved. If changing the battery doesn’t fix it and the fob is still mot working it might be need ed to be replaced.

Burned Fuse

If just one door isn’t locking but the others work fine, a burned fuse might be the issue. It is quite an easy task to change a fuse and also a cheap fix. Damaged Solenoid
